About Us

Ashley Hrytsyk is a Registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists (COTO) and a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT). She graduated from McMaster University with an Honours degree in Sociology and Gerontology and with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Ashley is additionally a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT) Older Adult Health Team.

Ashley has experience working in hospital and community settings, providing assessment and intervention for a variety of injuries, including but not limited to neurological, psychological, and orthopaedic dysfunction.

Ashley engages in an evidence-based practice, interpreting and applying evidence/best practice in all aspects of client care. She has further enhanced her skills through a variety of educational workshops. She is certified in Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) level 1.
